In order to achieve better practical teaching results, during the morning reading sessions of 9th December,2015, school leaders with senior high division convened the student representative seminar in the conference room on the first floor of the administration building, with the aim of ‘For All Students& All For Students’.
The meeting was hosted by Director Mr. Cao Siqing who required our students to relax and have a free talk on all aspects in studies as well as life since the new semester with the format of equality, freedom and objectivity.
To start with, student representatives were presented with questionnaire surveys concerning senior high students’ learning and life. More noticeably, students used anonymous names but with true information. This questionnaire aims to acquire more specific details regarding students’ life and study status. The investigation report mainly focuses on the following issues: caring for students, quality of teaching, tutorial participation, homework assignment, homework correcting, students’ noon break& bedtime in dormitories in addition to teaching efficiency. After students filled out the forms earnestly, our senior high division collected all the data for further analysis and improvement.
Furthermore, students felt that they were all deeply moved by the warmth of Anqing Foreign Language School in that she has well-deserved reputation, teaching spirit, environment, especially the spiritual beautifulness of teaching staff. Besides, head teachers loved students as their own, thoroughly instructed them, corrected& commented homework without delay. They never felt tired of giving instructions and always helped students in a patient and meticulous way. In the meantime, students hoped that teachers would give them more time to preview and review lessons by means of presenting briefly and succinctly.
To sum up, Principal Assistant Mr. Qian Zhihong concluded that, due to student representatives’ participation, straightforwardness and loveliness, our senior high division would pay high attention to their suggestions and opinions, consider their recommendations seriously to achieve tangible improvement and provide them with high-quality, more ideal conditions and platforms.
